This is a charitable organisation that brings together artists,
scientists and educators to raise awareness about climate change. The
content is related to a series of expeditions to the Antarctic. See The

This organisation leads the way in fighting climate change by inviting
individuals and business to take action to work towards becoming carbon
neutral. How to do this is explained on the website. The media section
includes a picture library.

The atmosphere, climate and environment section of this site has
factsheets and lots of puzzles and games, aimed at KS1&2. The rest
of the site is of interest to older pupils. The site is no longer being
updated but has plenty of useful material.

This is the climate change division of the American Environmental
Protection Agency. The site offers current information about the
subject, including a special section for children containing facts,
games, suggestions, animations and a set of resources for teachers.

The site contains articles and facts gathered from the scientific press.
The Marine Conservation Society

Suitable for: KS1/2 teachers & pupils
Pupils might find the text size and language used rather challenging
but they will enjoy the photographs and other illustrations. There is
information about many sea creatures, with details of their habitats
and way of life, along with details of the effect of climate change. A
travelling roadshow can be booked for school visits.
