The Sustainability Centre is having an open day on Sat 10th October 10-5

They say: 'The purpose of it is to consult the public on our plans to redevelop the derelict wing of the hostel and to build a new eco-classroom (Ben Law has designed and will be building it for us). There will also be children’s activities, site tours, green woodwork demos, campcraft and of course local bands, beer and veggie, organic/local/fairtrade food.

 

Also as part of Portsmouth Film Festival we will be showing environmental short films throughout the day, culminating in A Farm for a Future, which will be followed by a Q&A session with Rebecca Hosking the director'.
