NASA map shows sea level rises

A new NASA map shows sea level rises across the world since 1993. On the map, white areas show 10mm rises per year. The uneven sea levels are due to thermal expansion varying across the globe as the seas absorb heat from the atmosphere and sun. The map was created using data from the Jason-1 satelite.
